Automatically clean the collection cup of your Reef Octopus protein skimmer to keep it running at peak performance. Automatic Neck Cleaners (ANC) are designed to fit Reef Octopus skimmers. Consistently cleaning the neck of your protein skimmer will reduce the build-up of bio-organics. This build-up causes the foam to stick to the sides and can restrict the collection of skimmate in the skimmer's collection cup. ANC units will increase the height of your skimmer by approximately 4.75".

The Reef Octopus neck cleaners are rated on the mm size of the collection cup, which is indicated in the skimmer rating as the 150 number. In this case, since your regal 150sss has a 150mm collection cup, the corresponding neck cleaner would be the ANC 150.

Great question! These neck cleaners are proprietary to the Reef Octopus brand and may not work on another brand of skimmer. This will not work with your skimmer. :-(

I just purchased the Regal 300 Int Skimmer. Does the replacement lid still include the float switch holder which triggers the pump off when the skim mate is full?

The ANC replacement lids, do not include any provisions for a float switch at this time. You would need to modify the lid to include a hole for a float switch if you wanted to add one one.

Will the 110 model work with the Reef Octopus Classic 110 INT? Also it appears that this only cleans the neck down to the point where it joins the main body. Is there no way to clean the neck further down? That gets very much "slimed up" in mine, but it's a royal pain to clean because I have to take it out of the sump to clean it without the slime getting back into the aquarium water.

This will work with the Classic 110 INT skimmer. As for cleaning purposes this will often help to reduce the number of cleanings however the cup itself will often need to be cleaned still to keep up with the waste build up on the side.
