Is this refillable cartridge plastic and sponge safe for drinking water? I want to use it to refill my own calcite filter

Hey there,
Thank you for reaching out to us. Yes this will work fine for drinking water. Please let me know if you need anything further.

Am I missing something. I can buy just the filters for $5 or get the filters and new canister for $12. Seems a far better value to just get the whole thing.
Question by: Greg on Aug 20, 2022, 6:37 AM
Hey there,
Thank you for reaching out to us. The hard shell cartridge does not come with a filter. It's just the empty cartridge with 2 sponges.

Please let me know if you need anything further and take care!

Question by: Adrian Torres on Apr 4, 2022, 11:19 AM
Hey there,
Thank you for reaching out to us. Unfortunately, that is not a part we sell separately.

Please let me know if you need anything further and take care!

Will this work to convert an old RO filter to a CO2 reactor.
Question by: Nino Fernandez on Jan 17, 2020, 8:59 AM
Hey there!

It would work, you just need to change some fittings over as well.

Take care

Will these fit my old Rodi canister to convert them to media reactors
Question by: Jason on Nov 6, 2017, 7:39 PM
Yes, they will fit about 99% of 10" RODI canisters if you want to convert them into a reactor. The only issue is that traditional RO canisters use 1/4" fittings where media reactors use 1/2" and the flow is going to be severely restricted into the 1/4" canisters.
