These modular filters have magnetic cartridges with flexible configurations and high filtration volume, guaranteeing easy maintenance and crystal clear aquarium water. With its innovative design, you can add up to 2 extra modular cartridges to customize your filtration needs, mount the filter horizontally or vertically in your tank, and quickly detach cartridges from the filter head without stopping water circulation for easy cleaning. The Shark PRO filters also feature an integrated aeration system and spray bar, as well as filter foam media to get you started out of the box.

What is the minimum water depth this filter can be run in?

As long as the pump head is completely submerged, approximately 3.5", it will work in a vertical or horizontal position.
