Product Questions

Would this be a good skimmer for an IM 16 gallon nano? Is it noisy?
Question by: Faith on May 2, 2016, 12:13 AM
Great question! This skimmer would actually be a little over powered for a 16 gallon nano system, I would instead recommend you look at this skimmer: https://www.bulkreefsupply.com/reef-octopus-ns80-nano-skimmer.html

Wil this work in a nuvo fusion 30g all in one?
Question by: Chris on Apr 16, 2016, 11:31 PM
Great question!
This will not be a perfect fit. As an alternative We recommend the Midsize ghost skimmer by IM.

Is this skimmer appropiate for a 40B with 20 long sump? And how high does the water need to be for it to work properly?
Question by: Juan Sanchez on Apr 1, 2016, 12:42 PM
Great question!
The water level of this should be around 1-2 inches below the level of the tank and the tank will need to be 14" high to mount the skimmer. Feel free to let us know if you have any further questions!
