I have an older Reef Keeper Elite, and after 6 years the original temp probe went out. I was able to don't this one as a original replacement and its working great so far!
  • Solid Product By Mann on 6/30/2015

When my old temp sensor went out (the old cable style) I bought this one..... I wish this one would have been the first I bought! I will buy another as I do have two SLCs soon.
  • Probe By SaltySecrets on 4/3/2015

Accurate/reliable and shipped fast via USPS and cheaper shipping than other online sites.
  • Good probe By Seth on 12/3/2014

Good probe. Doesn't drift really at all. Works with the elite or the SL1 or SL2 module
  • Solid probe By ignignokt on 2/11/2013

Nice and accurate little probe. Lets my RKE keep my temp within +/-0.1F consistently. The only issue I had when it arrived was that the wires pulled out of the molex connector, but nothing a new molex connector and pins and 5 mins couldn't fix. It's been going 1.5 years now without any problems.
  • Less heart attacks By Nicholas on 8/7/2012

I love having my RKE set up, and this temp probe is SPOT ON. No more guessing how close my thermometers are and having to check two or three to make sure one isn't malfunctioning.
  • Super quality By Jonathan on 6/20/2011

Its funny BRS sell their Reefkeeper products cheaper than Digital Aquatic (the manufacturer) lol plus I was able to have it shipped regular mail so I saved a ton.
  • Temp Probe By Matt on 2/21/2011

This temp probe is great, very accurate and reliable. I can now sleep at night knowing my heaters are controlled by my elite equipped with this probe.
  • acurate By jimmyjames on 9/13/2010

i use this on my reefkeeper elite and is accurate within .1 degrees, highly recommend reefkeepers products

I have a RKL with the SL2v2 module, could I use this as a secondary temp probe?
Question by: Ken on Mar 30, 2017 7:44:00 PM
Hey there,
The Elite temp probes use a molex connection which can be plugged into the temp probe port on the SL2V2 and certain other modules. You can also use the standard iTemp probe for the RKL with any available BUS ports in the system.

Have a great day!

Is there any instructions available for calibrating this particular probe (elite)? I want to make sure it is accurately measuring temp.

will this work with sl1 with rkl
Question by: andy on Nov 30, 2013 11:26:00 PM
Hi Andy,
This is the temperature probe that connects to the SL1 module and will work with either the lite or elite so long as you have a spare temp port on an SL1 or SL2 module.
