Endless opportunities for optimizing your aquarium automation

  • Brand new, first-of-its kind, industry exclusive
  • Continuous monitoring of water level depth
  • Track evaporation, consumption, dosing levels, and more
  • Use in sumps, ATO reservoirs, AIO tanks, dosing containers, mixing station, etc
  • Measurements in both cm and in
  • Track all data in Neptune Fusion app, display in graph or visual animations
  • Set Apex to send alerts or take action whenever liquid level changes by specified amount
  • Mounting clip included

The Neptune LLS is a first of its kind industry exclusive! While most liquid level sensors simply measure the presence or absence of liquid at a predetermined  sensor height, the LLS is one continuous vertical sensor that can identify the exact depth of a liquid in both inches and centimeters at any given time. This increased sensitivity in measurement can help you identify and be alerted of changes in evaporation, consumption, and dosing levels within sumps, ATO reservoirs, AIO tanks, dosing containers, mixing stations, and more. The Apex* can then be set to send alerts or to take action whenever the liquid level changes by a specified amount. All measurements are shown in both digital and animated visual readouts in the app, allowing you to track your liquid level over time. The opportunities and potential uses for this new sensor technology are endless for automating and optimizing your aquarium system.

*The LLS may be used with any A2 Apex equipped with a FMM, or with any A3 Apex using either the embedded FMM ports or with a separate FMM.  LSS are not backward compatible with A1 Apexes (Apex Classic models).

Do I need a module foe this to work?
Question by: Deano on Nov 14, 2022, 10:05 PM
Answer by: Codey on Nov 22, 2022, 11:32 AM
I'm planning on an ATO Reservoir build, and want to incorporate this into it. I read other answers about the overall length of the 15" LLS, but I need to know the exact length of the LLS that can be submerged, and the length that should not be submerged. I will have the builder of the ATO cut some kind of hole on the top of the reservoir to fit the sensor, but also have the top part out of the water. In addition, there is mention of a "clip," what is this clip and can you give details on it? Any other info that we should know of when building the reservoir with this LLS would be amazing.
Question by: art on Oct 24, 2022, 6:11 PM
The height of the submersible portion of the 15" LLS is a tiny bit more than 16 1/4". The clip is the small grey plastic piece in the first image that is in the middle of the sensor. It is a simple plastic flexible clip that allows you to hang it on the edge of a piece of glass.

So this won’t work with the original,Apex (even with an FFM)?
Question by: Dean Burchell on Sep 22, 2022, 12:44 PM
Hey there,
Thank you for reaching out to us. Correct, you need an A2 or A3 Apex.

Our ATO storage is in a built in cabinet/box. The 4" LLS is too short and the 15" LLS is a bit too tall. Can the 15" be shortened?
Question by: Suzanne Usher on Sep 6, 2022, 2:55 PM
Hey there,
Thank you for reaching out to us. Unfortunately, it cannot be shortened.

Please let me know if you need anything further and take care!

Is the entire unit waterproof? I'd like to place one on an inside wall inside my sump. However, during the Feed cycle - this area of the sump fills up and would be over the top of the grey cap.
Thanks

Which length is best for a 35 gallon brute can?
Question by: kyle larsen on Sep 2, 2022, 6:19 PM

What is the length of the LLS Cable?
Question by: Jennifer on Aug 25, 2022, 9:37 AM
Hello! Thank you for reaching out to us.

The length of the cable for the Liquid Level Sensors are approximately 10ft.

Have a great day.
Answer by: William Reed (BRS Staff) on Aug 25, 2022, 9:53 AM
In regards to actual length of the LLS (4,15,23,35 inches) is that to total length of the product, or the length it measures. As I'm trying to work out best one that suits my needs and need to know total heights from top to bottom before purchasing them.

Thank you
Question by: Kassem Ghani on Aug 16, 2022, 4:04 PM
Thanks for the question! The stated length of the LLS 4" is that it can measure up to 4 inches. Add 5" to any of the LLS lengths to get overall length of the sensor. Please let u s know if we can help with anything else!

Can these be used with the Apex Fusion (not A3, previous version)?
Question by: Juan Ostos on Aug 4, 2022, 2:44 PM
As long as the previous unit you have (A2), the orange and grey version, then yes, you can use the Liquid Level Sensor. If you are referring the the Neptune Systems Fusion app, then it will work as well.
Answer by: Scott F. (BRS Staff) on Aug 4, 2022, 2:57 PM
Can they be used with an Apex Jr? (Not the new one, the old one)
Question by: Gennifer Briggs on Aug 4, 2022, 5:57 AM
Thanks for the question! The LSS is the only new accessory that will not work with the original ApexJr, but the other new sensors will work as long as you have a FMM module. Let us know if we can help with anything else!

Answer by: Scott F. (BRS Staff) on Aug 3, 2022, 4:37 PM
What are the actual product dimensions. Example, is the 15inch one actually 15 inches tall, or is it taller, and if so, by how much? With that, can it be fully submerged, or does the top part need to stay above the water?
Question by: Nicholas Williams on Aug 3, 2022, 8:44 AM
Hey there,
Thank you for reaching out to us. The 15" sensor is 19 3/4" tall. 1 1/8" wide and 1/2" thick. The grey head piece cannot be submerged.

Please let me know if you need anything further and take care!
Answer by: Matt Lucero (BRS Staff) on Aug 3, 2022, 12:26 PM
