- Apex Display Module - Neptune Systems
If you want to monitor and control your Apex quickly, from outlet status, float locations, enabling feed modes, and much more but don't want to pull out your smartphone or computer ever time, the Display Module is what you need.
- Grey case matches new Apex system
- Orange backlit LCD display
- 7 soft touch buttons
- Compatible with all Apex Controller Systems
The wired Apex Display module allows you to always have visual access and control of your Apex system, without the need for a smartphone or computer. The new sleek grey display module will now have a soft-glow orange back-lit LCD display with the traditional 7 button layout for easy functionality. You can program multiple different display screens that you can look through with the click of a single button, or be able to enter feed modes for feedings, water changes or other maintenance.
Just as ordered By John on 8/24/2018John would recommend this product to a friendDisplay is much better backlight and easier to read and operate. Allows me to quickly see status of tank without having to access fusion or PC.

Nice Feature By Jim on 1/17/2018Jim would recommend this product to a friendThe new Apex does not require this display module because you can link a tablet to the system instead; however, I use this unit because it is compact, easy to mount, and has all the functionallity. So I personally consider it an excellent module that's easy to use.
Useful if you don't always have phone in hand By Randall on 8/8/2017Randall would recommend this product to a friendThe new Apex doesn't come with this unit, but it should, and that is the only reason I took one star off. Sure, you can check your parameters with Apex Fusion from your smartphone, tablet or computer any time, but if you want to glance at the numbers when you walk by the tank, you need the display.
**ALSO** - The display has a hidden function that you can't access through either the local Apex dashboard or Apex Fusion. If you need to do a true manual point calibration of one of your probes, rather than the less-automated but still automated 'Manual probe calibration' as provided by Neptune, you need the display. Navigate to the Self Test page. Press the up arrow twice. Press the down arrow twice. Press the center button. You now have the hidden probe calibration menu before you; make sure you know what you're doing before messing with it.
Same old controller with new colors. By Tony on 1/1/2017Tony would recommend this product to a friendI needed a replacement controller because my original one died. This one looks a little nicer with the new colors. No new functionality, just a good replacement.
What are the dimensions of this display? LxWxD"
Does it work with the older system?
The grey Apex Display Modules are fully compatible with all Aquabus (USB style) Apex Controllers.
I have the new apex unit, where does this plug into. Does it plug into the head unit of the new apex?
Why does this unit cost less than the other display,
Are there any advantages with the old one that the new one doesnt have.?
The only difference between the two display units is the aesthetic appeal and the price. Other than that, there is no difference.
