The A3 Apex is an aquarium monitoring and control system built to help prevent equipment failures, catch problems early, and make day-to-day reefing less stressful. Track key parameters, control connected devices, and get notified when something needs attention.

Monitoring

  • Track temperature and pH with included lab-grade probes
  • Optical sensor for water level monitoring and leak detection with MOS and LD-2 sensors
  • View trends and history inside the Apex Fusion dashboard

Protection & Alerts

  • Automatically turn outlets on or off based on water parameters, sensors, or even time/day of the week
  • Email and/or push notifications when something needs your attention
  • Built-in audible alarm for immediate local alerts

  • Control Neptune Systems equipment like DOS and COR pumps, Trident testers, and more
  • Also compatible with select non-Neptune equipment from top brands like EcoTech Marine, AquaIllumination, Sicce, and Kessil

  • 3x 1LINK outputs for WAV, DOS, and more

A low-profile optical sensor that detects water

  • Simple on/off water level detection

Detects leaks on most flat surfaces.

  • Warning to help prevent damage to your aquarium or home
  • Place next to the aquarium, in the stand, or where ever leaks may occur
  • Weighted to help the sensor stay flat

  • Double-junction pH probe helps maintain stable readings

The Apex ecosystem is designed to grow with your tank. Start with monitoring and control, then add Neptune accessories over time to build a system that matches your goals.

Hey there,

The maximum number of modules per Apex Base Unit (APU) would be 49 modules. After that you would need another APU to use another 49 modules.
