Royal Exclusiv has established a particular level of quality that is second to none in the aquarium industry. Their German-engineered products range from an impressive sump system aptly named the "Dreambox" to some of the most highly-regarded skimmers and pumps money can buy.

The Red Dragon Speedy 3 series is their DC controllable line of return pumps that provide ultimate reliability and efficient performance where your tank needs it most. The pumps are built with utmost attention to detail and extremely high-quality construction with features like ceramic bearings, a titanium impeller assembly, and industrial-grade electronics. There are 5 models that provide flow rates from 1300 to 5000 GPH and are intended for use on larger aquariums starting around 75 gallons all the way up to 500+ gallons.

The pumps come with schedule 80 PVC unions for connection to standard size PVC pipes. Alternatively, a spigot barb adapter can be glued into place for connection with flexible tubing but in either case, the unions make for easy disconnect and maintenance.

The wired controller provides manual pump speed control via incremental wattage adjustments. An adapter interface (sold separately) can also be used to hardline the pump to your Neptune Systems Apex or GHL Profilux aquarium controller for additional control and monitoring features.
