Reefapalooza California 2026 Walkthrough | BRStv
Reef-A-Palooza California brings together some of the biggest brands, coral vendors, and reefing personalities in the hobby, and this year’s show had plenty to see. In this walkthrough, we make our way through both rooms and stop at every booth along the way, from major equipment manufacturers to coral vendors showing off some seriously impressive livestock.
There’s a little bit of everything in this one. You’ll get a closer look at new and upcoming reef aquarium products, lighting, pumps, testing equipment, filtration gear, aquascaping products, and plenty of accessories. We also spend time checking out corals, captive-bred fish, unique displays, and some of the more unusual products that caught our attention throughout the show.
If you couldn’t make it to Reef-A-Palooza California in person, this is about as close as you can get to walking the show floor yourself. Grab a drink, settle in, and see what’s new, what stood out, and which products or vendors might be worth a closer look for your own reef tank.
Vendor Interviews from Reefapalooza California 2026
We caught up with several of our favorite aquarium brands at Reefapalooza California to get a closer look at new products, new ideas, and what they’re working on for reef keepers. Expand the interviews below to hear directly from the people behind the brands.
Fish & Coral Foods with Reef Nutrition
Chad from Reef Nutrition walks us through some of the brand's popular fish and coral foods, including TDO pellets, Oyster-Feast, R.O.E., and its refrigerated food lineup. We also get a look at live saltwater mysis that Reef Nutrition is working with for public aquariums while gauging interest from hobbyists.

A Closer Look at Red Sea ReefControl
Dave from Red Sea gives us a closer look at the new ReefControl ecosystem, including its digital probes, ReefControl Light and Pro controllers, smart power management, and digital ATO. The modular system is designed to let reef keepers start with the parts they need most and expand over time, with everything managed through ReefBeat.
A Look at Kessil's A360XE Reef Lighting
Will catches up with Morgan and Wendy from Kessil at RAP California 2026 for a quick look at the A360XE reef aquarium light. They break down how it compares to the A360X, including roughly 20% more illumination from the same 90-watt power platform, improved efficiency, better power management, reflector compatibility, and the classic Kessil shimmer.
A Look at Maxspect's Automatic Glass Cleaner
The Maxspect Oceanova F1 is evolving into much more than an automatic aquarium glass cleaner. In this Reef-A-Palooza California 2026 interview, Howard from Maxspect shows off the latest updates, including a smaller design, wireless charging, faster cleaning, live camera viewing, aquarium mapping, scheduled photo locations, coral-growth timelapses, and feeding monitoring.
Checking out Aquaforest's Lineup of Fish Food
Will catches up with Seweryn from Aquaforest at Reefapalooza California to explore Aquaforest’s lineup of foods for saltwater fish and reef tanks. They cover specialized soft pellets for small fish and anthias, Calanidae and veggie grazing foods, refrigerated Artemia and rotifers, coral-friendly foods, and additives like vitamins and garlic.
