Product Questions
What feed pump would you recommend?
Question by: David Hernandez on Jan 17, 2018, 7:18 PM
The Varios-2 would be a great pump. The skimmer does want about 500 GPH of flow from the pump and the Varios-2 has just shy of 800 GPH available. If you are going to require any head pressure the Varios-4 may be a better choice.

I was wondering what the highest you can have the output for this skimmer? Would 15" be to high to plumb the outlet?
Question by: Chad Evers on Apr 11, 2016, 12:01 PM
Great question!
The Output height on the skimmer is 8.85in and will need to be mounted straight off of the output and down to keep the water level in the skimmer chamber correct. Feel free to let us know if you have any further questions!

What is the maximum height the out put can be. I have a Reeflo Orca on the tank now and thew output is plumbed to 15 inches. Would this be to high of an output for this skimmer?
Question by: Chad Evers on Apr 7, 2016, 8:05 PM
Great question!
These skimmers output should not be mounted higher than the level attached to the skimmer to prevent the internal water level from raising up too high. Feel free to let us know if you have any further questions!
