Protein skimming is an important part of maintaining clean, stable water in a saltwater aquarium. The UNS Mini Protein Skimmer helps remove dissolved organic compounds before they break down further, supporting cleaner, clearer water.
Designed with UNS Dual All-In-One Aquariums in mind, this compact skimmer uses fine bubbles to attract and separate proteins, amino acids, and other organic waste from the water column. Waste is collected in the skimmer cup where it can be easily removed.
Its compact footprint makes it a practical filtration upgrade for small saltwater systems where space is limited but consistent nutrient control is important.
