Donald would recommend this product to a friendI am breaking in a new HOB skimmer on my quarantine tank and part of my daily activities was checking to make sure the skimmer was overflowing. Having installed this to the skimmer I no longer have to wonder or worry!
Not only do I have not have to worry about over flowing skimmer, this things looks GREAT! Having carbon filtering the outgoing air is a really plus as well. -

Greg would recommend this product to a friendLooking forward to this solving some issues I've had around waste removal (Has your GF ever dumped a full collection cup in your sump???).
Build quality is excellent though the instructions suck and it doesn't include any drain hose (15/32 ID)

I had to open a support case to find out there is a 5-7 minute wait time for the receptacle to turn on after plugging into power. After that went green it's been all good. -

Hey Dominic,
This unit is not actually a skimmer, it is used to collect waste from the skimmer when connected to the drain line of the collection cup. This will reduce the frequency you have to remove the cup and the float ball prevents overflowing. If you have any other questions, let us know.
