The Simplicity DC Pump is an internal, fully controllable return pump with a basic controller design and the straightforward performance you would expect from a dependable reef tank pump.
Four Simple Pump Sizes
The Simplicity DC Pump comes in four sizes, and just like everything else from Simplicity, the naming is simple. The 1000 DC Pump moves up to 1,000 gallons per hour, the 1600 moves up to 1,600 gallons per hour, and the lineup continues with the 2100 and 3200 models.
Each pump includes appropriately sized barb fittings, ranging from 0.75 inch and 1 inch fittings on the smallest pump up to 1.5 inch fittings on the largest model. They also offer strong head pressure ratings, making them a nice and simple option if you need to pump water from a remote sump, basement sump, or another room.
Simple Controller, No App Required
The included DC pump controller keeps things simple with just three buttons and no need for a complicated app, Bluetooth connection, or Wi-Fi setup. There is a feed mode button, a plus button for more power, and a minus button for less power.
Feed mode pauses the pump for 10 minutes before automatically resuming back to the previous setting. The plus and minus buttons allow you to fine-tune the pump for your specific tank, which means you can dial in the right amount of flow without wasting electricity by restricting flow with a valve.
