Save Space in your sump with the Skimz Piramid Internal Protein Skimmers.
Skimz Piramid Skimmers come equipped with QuietPro DC Controllable Pumps that have six preset RPM settings that let you perfectly tune the water and air flow through your skimmer for maximum performance. The controller also features a feed mode that shuts the pump down for 10 minutes. The pumps push the air mixed with your tanks saltwater through the new R14 TinyAir bubble plate that has a ratio of 1:4 course to fine holes, reducing the bubble size and turbulence.
The Piramid skimmer collection cup is now rectangular allowing it to hold more volume of skimmate while taking up less space than a traditional round collection cup. Water exits through the micro-adjust gate valve that lets you precisely tune the water level inside the skimmer. The water level inside your skimmer is very crucial and changing the water level will alter how your skimmer performs with overall air intake and waste removal.

Nice Bubbles / Poor Instructions By Wendy on 10/8/2017Wendy wouldn't recommend this product to a friendI retired my 6 year old AquaC EV 240 for the SP207 Skimz.
While the skimz fits nicely in my new sump and makes very fine bubbles AND is much quieter then the AquaC...the problem is the box had no instructions on how to adjust the pump controller. There are no instructions on the Skimz web site on how to adjust this controller. Another aspect not appreciated are 2 open slots on the lid of the collection cup. So, if you can't control the pump (because no instruction manual for it) and the skimmer decides to overflow the cup with water and bubbles, guess where it goes? Spewing out the top and all over the inside of your cabinet. Needless to say, I am not pleased. At least the aquaC collection cup lid had no holes and the instruction manual was very clear... I will buy made in America next time...which may be soon.
