Today on BRStv, we have another episode of BRS 52 FAQ where we answer all of your frequently asked reefing questions from our popular 52 Weeks of Reefing series. Today we are answering Riley Pasha’s question: "Why would u need Seneye when u have an apex or other controller?" If you already have a controller then the value of a monitor will vary from tank to tank. In most cases a controller will be the ideal solution, and will let you physically control and monitor your aquarium all through the control unit. The benefits of a monitor system like the Seneye is that it is another form of redundancy and can even monitor some nutrient and other levels that most traditional controllers can read. The biggest benefit of a monitor is the set up takes no time at all, and that they do not rely on any confusing code, or algorithms that are easy to mess up. In most cases the Seneye takes less than 10 minutes to set up and can even be connected to a PC, or even the internet. So follow along as we discuss the benefits of running the Seneye monitor or any other type of monitor in harmony with a controller. *Legal Stuff* The purpose and content of this video is to provide general information regarding the products and their applications as presented in the video.
