Welcome back, and today Randy is taking an in-depth look at the Neptune Systems Breakout Box module. With the breakout box, you can have your tank perform automated functions when a switch is either open or closed. They are most commonly used for top off float switches, but the possibilities are actually endless since there are multiple different types of switches you can use and program with your Apex Controller.
If you want to know how to program your Apex in conjunction with open/closed switches, Randy is here to show you how. From simple programming like having a light turn on when your cabinet door is opened, to more complex functions such as having manual control of your lights or pumps with a 2-way toggle switch that you can usually pick up at your local hardware store. If you are in the market for a breakout box, or already have one and want to use it to its full potential, make sure to watch, and we are confident you will pick up a few handy tips along the way!
