Question by: Matthew on Dec 8, 2023, 11:14 AM
Hi there, thanks for the question! Yes, they both can be submerged however I would recommend checking often for any signs of corrosion.
Answer by: Grace (BRS Staff) on Jan 25, 2024, 11:55 AM
Is it possible to get a additional powerhead? I can’t find the 6040 without getting another controller.

Take care

Can two of these be “tied” together with the light sensor/moon light? I have one with the moon light on it but would like to add a second one and keep the moon light.

Hey there,
Yes, you can do that, you will just need a Tunze Y cable.

Take care!

Can this be controlled by an Apex without the included controller or is it necessary to communicate with an Apex? Thanks.
Question by: jason wells on May 28, 2017, 11:23 AM
Tunze controllable pumps do still require the controller to connect to the Apex as the control cable plugs into the port on the bottom of the controller.

Have a great day!

Hey there, thanks for reaching out to us! The Tunze 6020 is not controllable. You can control it with an aquarium controller, but only for ON/OFF functionality. :-)
