Hanna Alkalinity Checkers: What YOU Need To Know
Measuring the alkalinity in your reef tank is very important to the health of your corals because maintaining proper alkalinity will allow your corals to grow and thrive. The Hanna Instruments alkalinity checkers allow you to quickly and accurately get a digital readout of the alkalinity inside your aquarium.
Hanna offers two different alkalinity checkers for marine aquariums. One that provides the reading in dKH and one that provides a reading in Parts per million or PPM. Both of the meters test with the same accuracy and the only difference would be your personal preference for the unit of measure.
The dKH version has a range from 0 – 20.0 dkH with a resolution of 0.1 dkH. The ppm version has can measure from 0 – 250ppm with a resolution of 0.1 ppm. Both of them offer quick accurate test results and will help you to more accurately monitor the critical parameter of alkalinity inside your aquarium.
These Hanna Checkers can be a real life saver, so if you're sick of hassling with liquid test kits and wants a quick and accurate way to test your alkalinity, the Hanna Instruments Alkalinity Colorimeters are a great choice.
