Excellent By Mark on 5/26/2019Mark would recommend this product to a friendI've been using this for months. It doesn't precipitate when you add it to the aquarium or sump (the alkalinity portion of 2 part will cause precipitation, which caused some coral frag deaths when that precipitate landed on them. In fairness, I added the 2-part alkalinity portion over the return pump), it's simple (one solution for Ca/alk/Mg/trace - the Ca and alk components are calcium formate where the formate is metabolized into bicarbonate in the tank), and the trace element composition is both the A- AND the K- Elements per Tropic Marin USA (which isn't clear on their website). My Vargas cespitularia was dying back (presumably due to trace element depletion); once switching to this, it's back to growing and flourishing. Tropic Marin's website has a volume/alkalinity calculator, which is helpful. My only real concern is cost, but for the convenience I'm willing to pay it. It is a form of mild carbon dosing (formate), but not nearly to the same degree as calcium acetate.
Awesome product By Kelly on 4/24/2019Kelly would recommend this product to a friendThis product has literally saved me hair loss as I was pulling it out trying to keep up with coral growth and element consumption. This product makes it super easy. But for the love of all things reefing please PUT THIS PRODUCT IN GALLON JUGS!
Works Great SPS Nano By Jarrod on 3/29/2019Jarrod would recommend this product to a friendI have been using this on my 30 gal SPS nano for almost five months now and it is working great! I have sps 48 frags in this tank and they are all growing nicely and the colors are simply amazing. By far the best colors I have ever had (I'm also using the Fauna Marin Zeolite method). I use half as much of this as I did with the Red Sea Foundation. I do need to supplement Mg once in a while but the Calcium stays right in line with the Alk. I keep Alk at 7.3 and Ca at around 420 ppm. I will continue to use this as long as I can.
Gold era of reefing! By Yousef on 3/27/2019Yousef would recommend this product to a friendTruly amazing product! Corals love it and can see them be happier in less than a day. Perfect for anything smaller than 100 gallon tank.
Work great By Steve on 2/15/2019Steve would recommend this product to a friendKeep my 190 up and corals loving it highly recommended
Proof in the results! By Mick on 8/21/2018Mick would recommend this product to a friendBeen using this product for a few months now, and I'm glad to see it for sale here. I didn't expect to be as impressed as I was. Switched from 2 part to this, and couldn't be happier. I had my doubts about an all in one, as I've tried other "miracle" products, but I did some reading on this product and it's different. I saw stable alk and calcium after a few days of dosing, and coral growth picked up shortly after I began. Colors are also the best they've been in my tank, and I've stopped dosing other trace additives! For smaller to medium systems where you want something easy that can do it all, this stuff is hard to beat.
Does this product also elevate PH to 8.3 (like kalk)?
Please let us know if you have any further questions.
It will not elevate the pH as it contains sodium bicarbonate.
1) Is the all for reef bottle set up for a dosing pump? What dosing pump would you recommend?
2) What is your favorite nano tank (15-20 gal max) for small reef? Why
Thanks for reaching out to us. It is not set up for dosing but we would recommend getting the 1.1 mL dosing pump, bulkhead tank adapter and acrylic tube you can simple add it to the bottle cap, if not a container of your choice. If looking for great nano tanks we would recommend either Innovative Marine if not Red Sea. Please let us know if you have any further questions. Happy Reefing!
