- 1/4" Push Connect Bulkhead Tank Adapter - Mur-Lok
¼" push connect bulkhead tank adapter.
Note: These come with a plastic nut and do not come with a gasket. They are intended for dry applications such as running a tube through a tank stand, etc.
Perfect for DIY dosing container By Coral Creations on 4/30/2018Coral Creations would recommend this product to a friendWe needed some of these for a DIY dosing container project we are doing for our YouTube channel and as usual BRS came through with the goods just like they did with our Triton Method supplements. Now our dosing storage solution is complete and our tank is running the full Triton Method.
Made easy By Littleman on 3/13/2018Littleman would recommend this product to a friendMurdock made it easy to set up my 3 dosing containers all I had to do is drill a hole and slide the Murdock in.made easy

Lets air in By Patrick on 12/4/2017Patrick wouldn't recommend this product to a friendI concur with other review:"I bought these for dosing containers. They are well made but for my application I found they weren't worth it. They are very finicky in keeping a prime and allowing air in to the dosing lines. I found once I got them set it would only be a couple refills before they were jostled around enough to lose prime again. I found it easier to to just run RO tubing straight to the bottom and never have to worry about it again. Wasn't worth the money but it's not like the cost is significant. Keep it simple and by pass these." I do use them in my ATO to push thru and those work fine

Great item By chris on 6/8/2017chris would recommend this product to a friendThis is a great item for projects like DIY dosing containers, making secure connections for accessories like CaRx effluent line, ATO output lines, and AWC lines. So many uses for such a simple and inexpensive product.

Works OK, not sure I'd buy again By Chris on 12/6/2016Chris would recommend this product to a friendSeems to work as intended, however...
I originally bought this with the 1/4" OD acrylic rod to use with a 5 gallon bucket (so as not to draw off the bottom) and the BRS Top Off Doser (50 mL per minute), however I could not maintain a prime with that setup. There seems to be a problem with the acrylic tube sealing well in the bulkhead and the pump kept losing prime. I replaced the acrylic tube with a regular piece of poly RO tubing and it works fine now.
So, the product seems to work as intended...but I would not have bothered with the bulkhead if I knew it wasn't going to work with the rigid acrylic rod...
Handy Fitting to Have By Ted on 10/31/2016Ted would recommend this product to a friendI used it for a top off container it is hooked to a manual float works real good handy fitting just to have for a future project
Great Dry Bulkhead Fitting! By Bloody Knuckles on 10/23/2016Bloody Knuckles would recommend this product to a friendRemember this is for DRY applications.
I used it for my RODI containers.
I drilled a hole in the lid of the BRUTE container, attached the fitting, secured the output line and done.
Plenty of other applications, but basically this should be used in the lid of a less than full container of liquid to pump liquid in or out via attached hose and/or tubing.
*works with 1/4 acrylic tube also purchased from BRS, but I didn't need it for my application
Good as long as you take the time to make sure it's setup properly. By Chris on 6/23/2016Chris would recommend this product to a friendI bought two of these for my dosing pumps and containers with the intention of using them with the 1/4" rigid acrylic tube into the top of my dosing container. when I first hooked these up they both leaked pretty bad and wouldn't reliably dose my 2-part. For one the acrylic tubing is extremely tight and difficult to insert and remove. I ended up fixing the leaks by making sure my end on the acrylic was exactly flat and I used a small piece of sandpaper to make sure it was absolutely flat and smooth. I then removed the collar on the side opposite of where I put the acrylic and then inserted the acrylic tubing making sure it was completely seated and I couldn't see any of the two O-rings from the top. Similarly I used the tubing cutter available on BRS to make sure the tubing was completely straight. Overall this is a great product for a clean install as long as you are very careful when attaching the tubing especially the rigid acrylic. BTW I had better luck with the clear tubing in the dosing pump rather than the translucent ro tubing.

Would I be able to use this with the DOS air line tubing?
What size drill bit do you need to install these?
These will need a hole size of 3/4" for installation. Feel free to let us know if you have any further questions!
What kind of plastic is this made of?
The Mur-Lok fittings we carry are made of white polypropylene.
Have a great day!
Hey my alkalinity consumption is around 150 ml per day. I have a 10 liter bucket. Can I mix the powder all at once, and connect to the dosing pump. Of course I am using acrylic tubing and bulkhead. But I am just asking do I need to shake the supplement once in a while, so the powder doesn't sink to the bottom. If so, how often do I need to shake it. Will you recommend me to do that, or its better to mix less at a time.
Do you think this would this work to convert a bottle (e.g., of NO3:PO4-X) to a dosing container, by drilling the lid to accommodate this bulkhead, and attaching a 1/4" Clear Acrylic Tube (your SKU: 207841) of the appropriate length to dangle inside the bottle (also assuming the lid is drilled to allow air in)?
This will work perfect and is its intended application. Feel free to let us know if you have any further questions!
Does this have a rubber gasket to prevent leaking. I want to install this on an ATO plastic container.
This bulkhead is only meant for dry, above water applications as the fitting does not have a gasket or o-ring to provide a water-tight seal.
Have a great day!
