- PouchFeeder for Algae and Frozen Foods - Two Little Fishies
Let your fish naturally graze on algae and other foods with Two Little Fishies PouchFeeder.
The pouches are made out of a flexible plastic that your fish can easily peck through to get chunks of food. The PouchFeeder comes with a strong mounting magnet letting you position the food right where you (or your fish) want it on your tanks side panel. Stuffing the pouch with any type of nori (dried algae) or other types of soft and frozen food works great and lets your fish feed throughout the day like they would in the wild.
Using a grazing style feeder is perfect for tangs, blennies, angels, and other herbivorous fish that like to constantly pick at rocks and algae throughout the day. The PouchFeeder is also perfect for any aquarium that houses fish that have a variety of feeding behaviors, allowing the food to stick around long enough, giving some of your more timid fish a chance to eat.

Works fine By BonelessEvil on 10/19/2018BonelessEvil would recommend this product to a friendNo problems with it, save the seaweed getting stuck in the pouch a bit. Magnet works sufficiently on 1/2" thick glass (Red Sea 425 XL). Fish pick at it crazy.
Best feeder I have ever used! By Lortaal on 3/13/2018Lortaal would recommend this product to a friendI have used a number of feeders over the years and this is the best one I have ever used. The pouch is sealed on the sides so the food (frozen, algae, etc) can't escape. With the sides closed and moderately sized holes, the fish don't pull all the food out so that it floats away. Most of my issues with the other feeders was the maint required to keep them clean so they worked properly or didn't get scummy. This feeder hasn't required that level of maint so it doesn't add to my weekly / monthly duties. Since the sides are sealed, you have to be careful not to open too widely or you will split the seams. If this happens, they have replacements that are moderately priced.
Quality Magnet, Weak Pouch By Jim G. on 2/9/2018Jim G. wouldn't recommend this product to a friendI purchased this feeder last week for my system thinking that it would be a great tool to use instead of veggie mags. Love the veggie mags, but my fish often "play" with the seaweed instead of eating as much of it as they should. I placed the seaweed inside the pouch (which is more difficult than I think it should be), and placed it in the tank. The holes are pretty tiny for an large tang to get to the food. The next morning the seams of the plastic pouch were split halfway up. Great magnet, poor pouch construction IMO. I will continue to use the veggie mags made by Two Little Fishies.
