Question by: Brandon on Jul 13, 2016, 9:50 AM
Hi there,
The Mesh 4” x 8” filter sock with draw string will be able to hold 100mL of any type of carbon.

I have the Jumbo BRS Reactor for Carbon. I fill the canister full each time I replace. Should it be full, or should it be less full to allow carbon to tumble?
Thanks,
Gary
Question by: Gary Willis on Jun 5, 2016, 11:31 PM
Great question!
Carbon is not recommended to tumble and additionally we do not recommend over running carbon. Instead use the aquarium calculator to find the correct amount as well as use a sponge to keep it from tumbling and breaking up.
