Helanthium tenellum, the pygmy or dwarf chain sword is still also known under its synonym Echinodorus tenellus. It is native to the Eastern United States through Mexico and Paraguay. It is the smallest known species among the running-forming sword plants and is popular with hobbyists. This prolific plant can thrive under most levels of lighting and does not have any special requirements beyond nutrient-rich soil.

About Tissue Cultured Plants
