Great Skimmer By Crazydiamond on 8/8/2016Crazydiamond wouldn't recommend this product to a friendSkimmer is very nice- well built and solid. Set it up on my 480 gallon system and ran it on level 3 for a few days during the break-in period. Have since raised it up to level 5 and keep it running full blast. Runs a wet skim and pulls out about 3-5 gallons of skim a week into a 5 galllon waste collection bucket. I am real happy with this skimmer. I run kalk & with the skimmer in operation, my Nitrates and Phosphate levels have reduced to almost undetectable. Very happy with Reef Octopus.
ok By russell on 4/27/2015russell would recommend this product to a friendSkimmer is built well and seems to work on my 500 gallon tank controller seems kind of pointless like im going to turn it down? Its seems to be the sro6000 with a different pump is all. It is very quiet almost silent. best part is I went from 1.9 amps shown on my apex with my Orca 250 pro to a mere .3 amps.
