I bought two of these for my 45 gallon tank and placed them opposite of each other. I like the fact that they are much smaller than the voyagers (half the size) but still have a good magnet and stick well to the glass. They move plenty of water and stir up the fish waste and keep it off the bottom until it gets filtered out. They do 'click' on but that will happen with most a/c driven pumps and its not really that noticeable. They pivot and move in a good radius so you can point them where you need them. That's the good..... the bad, I have had these for 10 days and one has already died on me. The first thing Sicce asked for was my sales slip so if you do buy this or anything from them, save your BRS invoice and packing slip and register your products with Sicce online.
  • Lame company, lame pump By Scorpio7176 on 12/30/2016

I had numerous problems. The blades keep breaking off and Sicce refused to send me replacement parts. I have never had this much problems with a pump. I just threw it away! What a crappy product and company.
  • XStream Wave Pump (925 GPH) - Sicce By TonyG on 1/25/2016

I purchased two (2) Sicce 925's pumps for my 50 gallon reef aquarium. I have them set up on either side of the tank circulating the water in a cross current pattern.
    The positive features:
The units are quiet, small and are rated at only 4 watts each. You mount them on the aquarium window using magnets, so installation is quick very easy.
    Some concerns:
My aquarium windows are 3/4" thick acrylic so the magnets barely hold the fans attached. Although the attraction appears good enough as they haven't fallen off… yet. The fans are rated at 925 GPH each but I am suspicious if they really output at that capacity. I have no way to check but my much smaller capacity Danner Pondmaster 's (250GPG) appear to be just as or more powerful in moving the water. And lastly, it would have been nice if the electrical cords were 6 feet longer.
All in all I am excepting the good with the bad and am satisfied with the units as they are meeting my requirements.
I would recommend this product to friends but would definitely fill them in on my concerns.
    Kind regards,
    Tony
  • Loud clicking on and off By John from Dallas on 11/15/2015

The pump is tiny and very quiet, except when it turns on. It has a wide spread and works very well. I run it all day and off at night. I let my Sicce voyagers turn on and off every five minutes and they are dead silent, even turning on.
