Add a Screen Top Feeding Portal from Neat Aquatics and say goodbye to dried-on, smelly food bits getting stuck to your screen top netting.

The Screen Top Feeding Portal is the ultimate convenience-enhancing accessory for your screen top. The portal provides a secure solution for feeding that eliminates the need to remove the cover from your tank for feeding without compromising the integrity of the netting or frame. Once installed, the portal frame keeps the screen material from stretching and losing shape at the location of the hole, and the portal includes a removable cover for feeding larger foods such as frozen or flakes. When feeding pellets with an automatic feeder, the cover can stay on and will prevent even small fish from jumping out. We think that's pretty neat!

The feeding portal will work with any of the common screen top aquarium covers and installs in minutes. Pick a convenient spot to feed from, such as a corner of the screen, in install the portal. Once in place, you just cut the netting material from the portal hole and you're set!

Product Questions

There’s a lot of reviews stating this products material breaks down and does not last. How often has BRS had theirs? How long does BRS expect this to last before breaking or needing to be replaced?
Question by: Chad M on Feb 6, 2023, 12:55 PM
Thanks for the question! As long as installed properly these last years!

Do they make an insert for this to defrost frozen food. Like a cup insert of some sort. Or do you know of one that will work with it
Question by: AJ on Jan 14, 2022, 5:27 AM
Unfortunately, they do not and we do not know of one that works with it.

Are these eel safe? Have a couple foot snowflake. And if not, is there a sturdier version planned or available?
Question by: Stephen M on Nov 29, 2021, 6:31 PM
We have Neat Aquatics Portals on the BRS 160 and we had an eel in there, we never ran into any issues with him escaping.

How exactly is this installed to a screen cover?
Question by: George on Aug 12, 2020, 2:47 PM
Hey there,
Thank you for reaching out to us! It is pretty simple. You will remove your screen top and place a sie of the cover on each side of your screen top, lining up the holes. It works best if you position as many of the holes you can in the holes of the screen net top. Insert the screws with the head side facing up towards the ceiling, then tighten the nuts on the backside. You can then take a razor blade and cut out the screen that is in the hole.

Please let me know if you need anything further and take care!
