Slip x Slip x Slip. PVC Pipe Tees for your plumbing needs. Use Schedule 80 Pipe Tees to join three pieces of pipe. More professional look than white Schedule 40 PVC.

The golden rule of plumbing is that every job takes three trips to the store. While this can be frustrating locally it can be much worse when shopping online. Being short a fitting or two can delay a plumbing project for days. Here are some quick tips to avoid this.

  • Plan your plumbing on paper.
  • Don't skimp on unions. Unions allow for easy breakdown and maintenance as well as remove the need for precise elbow placement. Use them as often as possible.
  • When in doubt order extra. We happily accept returns for a full refund (less shipping) on all unused fittings within one month of purchase. A few extra bucks in return shipping is less frustrating than a project delay.

That's correct! To avoid confusion, we use the nominal pipe size rating on all pvc fittings and pipe.

hi there, im considering purchasing yoursingle gfo and carbon reactor my question is im running two 2260 eheim canister filters for my 72 gallon bow front drilled tank I would like to know if I could run the reactors in line off my 3/4 inch return line with reducing fittings ,tee fittings and your burloc ball valves,im very happy with my canisters filters my tank has been running for years now with no issues I don't want a sump with this system im building a 90 gallon drilled bowfront which will be utilizing a 30 gallon sump your insite will be greatly appreciated.
Question by: richard john on Jan 20, 2016, 3:26 AM
Great question!
Unfortunately it is not possible to run a reactor in line with a canister filter. The impeller within the canister is not designed for the flow to work well as well as fitting and plumbing up between the Polyethylene semi malleable tubing and soft canister filter tubing will prove to be a very tough challenge. Feel free to let us know if you have any further questions!
