The ORA Fiji Clownfish, also known as the Barberi Clownfish, is a member of the Tomato Complex and has a similar size, shape, and temperament to the Tomato Clownfish (Amphiprion frenatus) and Cinnamon Clownfish (Amphiprion melanopus). Its bright orange body is accented by a single large white head bar that lacks the black outline commonly seen on Tomato and Cinnamon Clownfish.

Captive-bred by ORA, these clownfish are well adapted to aquarium life and prepared foods. Like other members of the Tomato Complex, the Fiji Clownfish can become territorial, particularly as it matures or establishes a pair.

Aquarium Requirements

Provide the Fiji Clownfish with a stable, established saltwater aquarium with plenty of rockwork for shelter and territory. A minimum aquarium size of 30 gallons is recommended, with more space providing additional room for the fish to establish a territory and coexist with tankmates.

Habitat Recommendations

Aquascape

Include rockwork with caves, overhangs, and sheltered areas where the clownfish can retreat and establish a territory. An anemone is not required to successfully keep a captive-bred clownfish in an aquarium.
