- HMS Multi Light Mount Kit - Aqua Illumination
The HMS Multi Light Mounting System is composed of three individual components that let you customize the mounting system for your exact tank and number of Hydra LED modules. The track system lets you slide your lights from side to side allowing you to position them perfectly for the best coverage and reduction in shadowing.
Aqua Illumination constructed the HMS Mounting System and its components vastly out of high-quality aluminum that will not rust over time and keeps things lightweight. The mounting feet can accept any thickness of tank, whether rimmed or rimless it doesn't matter.
RMS System Requires 3 Separate Parts:
- HMS Multi Light Mount Kit or HMS Hanging Kit
- HMS Multi Light Track
- HMS TwentySix or FiftyTwo Bracket
HMS Mounting System Components:
HMS Multi Light Mount Kit - Includes vertical HMS rails and mounting feet that can sit on the side of your aquariums rim.
HMS Hanging Kit - Allows you to suspend the HMS Tracks from your ceiling or wall brackets.
HMS Multi Light Track - Select the track that matches the length of your tank
2x Mounting Feet
2x Pivoting Brackets
2x 15" Vertical Rails
Nice setup By Shannon on 1/13/2019Shannon would recommend this product to a friendIf you purchase the appropriate items needed for your setup, this is a nice way to mount your Hydra’s. A bit of a pain to route the cables, but not bad.
bulk reef didn't mention incomplete By pj on 8/28/2018pj wouldn't recommend this product to a friendBulk reef website does not mention ( at the time I am writing this) that this kit does not include mounting rail. I checked other sites and the specifically say what is and isn't included. The HMS kit is fine. Bulk reef supply... never use them again.
disappointing By Mike on 4/7/2018Mike wouldn't recommend this product to a friendWarning* You have to buy the mounting brackets and the mounting rail separately... Why Can't you offer this as a full kit instead of nickel and dimming your customers... Also, It's outrageous how much each individual piece costs. Don't get me wrong, I love the lights AI makes but this is not cool. I will give it 3 stars because it looks nice when you have all the pieces but still think it's over priced.
LOVE IT! By Kurt on 7/19/2017Kurt would recommend this product to a friendAbsolutely love this setup. I have a 5 foot 105-gallon tank with a Ghost Overflow. I wasn't able to use the ARM mounts AI offers due to the ghost overflow. They look great a friend of mine uses them. So I went with this option. I was a little skeptical but when I got the kit it looked great. I setup the brackets and lights and dang this thing looks super sharp. I have three LED's over my tank. You are able to hide all the cords inside the arms or the light mount. Everything looks cordless. Totally worth the cost and build really really well. BRS package this really nice came with no scratches and shipping was really fast! Thanks, BRS.

What size tanks will it fit. Will it fit a75gal
The HMS tank mount only includes the vertical mount pieces and mounting hardware. The track sections are sold separately and are available here https://www.bulkreefsupply.com/multi-light-hms-track-aqua-illumination.html in several lengths up to 73.5".
Have a great day!
How wide are the feet I have an IM SR120 I want to know if ill still be able to use the screen top if the feet are sitting to far over the rim or can they be easily shaved to allow for that and I already have 3 prime hds could I rig a way to mount those on this rail with the hardware from the prime hanging kit and a nut and washer from Lowes? I also plan to get 2 hydra 26 to add to the rail since I've learned the 3 prime hds aren't enough for the 6 foot tank. any recommendations on lighting configuration would be helpful too. 26s vs 52s with the 3 primes I already have?
The feet will extent 7/8" from the outside edge of the tank. Being made of plastic it is possible to trim the down but doing so will reduce the stability of the entire mount so I wouldn't recommend it.
I would agree that using the Prime Hanging Kit brackets to mount the Primes to the rail is your best bet.
As for adding lights that is going to depend entirely on your goals for PAR levels. With the shallow depth of the tank adding 2 Primes or at the most two Hydra 26s should get you well within the ranges of most SPS corals throughout most of the tank. Just be sure to place the most demanding corals higher up on the rock or closer to the Hydra 26s. Alternating the Primes with the Hydras will give you spread.
How tall are the brackets? I’m not seeing anywhere on here where it says
Thank you for reaching out.
The HMS light arms have adjustable height with a maximum height is 13 inches.
Please let us know if you have any other questions!
Hello, can the feet be mounted on the inside of the tank, or do they have to be mounted on the outside? Thank you!
The HMS is mounted by a bracket resting on the rim of the aquarium. The upright legs are on the outside of the tank and is the only way to properly mount them in order for the light bracket to fit. :)
Can the Hydra 52s be positioned parallel to the rail? Instead of perpendicular as depicted?
According to AI's product information, the new HMS mounting system allows you to slide and swivel the lights in the orientation of your choice, so yes, you can mount them any way you like!
Have a great day!
