EXT 22.4 Gallon Rimless Aquarium (Full Package)

Ultra-clear low-iron glass and a rimless design give the display a clean, open appearance. The square footprint provides space to arrange rockwork with depth, while the slim overflow limits the equipment visible inside the aquarium.

An external overflow is a great choice when you want to keep more room inside the aquarium for your aquascape. Unlike a larger internal overflow that takes up space in the display, this design places the main overflow box behind the tank, with a slim surface-skimming weir inside. The weir is removable for cleaning.

The Herbie setup uses two drains: a primary drain that runs at a full siphon for quiet operation and a separate emergency drain that provides a backup path for water if the primary drain becomes clogged.

The acrylic sump houses filtration beneath the aquarium and includes interchangeable filter sock and filter floss holders so that you can choose your preferred mechanical filtration. The sump has several chambers that can be used for equipment like a protein skimmer or media reactor.

Heater, probe, and dosing tube holders help keep equipment and tubing neat and organized. A polycarbonate cover helps reduce sump noise, evaporation, and salt creep, while a full top support brace reinforces the sump.

The separate 3-gallon reservoir stores freshwater for your auto top-off system, which should be enough water to keep the tank topped off for several days before needing to be refilled.

The included Schedule 80 plumbing kit uses familiar imperial sizing and provides a gate valve, elbows, unions, tees, and bulkheads for connecting your aquarium and sump. The gate valve lets you fine-tune the primary drain for quiet operation, while the return nozzle kit directs water back into the display.

PVC pipe is not included, giving you the freedom to choose your preferred pipe color and plan the layout to suit your setup.

Built from solid plywood for aquarium use, the matching cabinet gives your reef a finished look in your choice of black or white.

• Soft-Close Doors: Stainless steel hinges let the doors close gently and provide lasting support.
• Push-Open Access: Recessed hardware makes it easy to open the cabinet while keeping the exterior clean and seamless.
• Leveling Feet: Adjustable feet help you level the stand and provide stable support.
