COR-15 Requires Apex Controller.
Don't have an Apex? Check out the Neptune Systems COR-20.
The COR pumps were built from the ground up with control in mind. Have power over everything including the CORs output percentage, real-time operational feedback, compared feed routines, pump status can all be monitored and controlled with Apex Fusion. Once the COR pump is plugged into a 1Link port, and after a couple button presses you can set the pumps flow rate and feed mode settings. By enabling IQ-Level, you can set the min and max flow rates for your aquarium.
Up to 1500GPH
The powerful COR-15 can push up to 1500 gallons per hour with an incredibly efficient head-loss curve. Each pump comes with multiple different output fittings that let you adapt the COR pumps output to match your reef tanks current plumbing size. It is suggested to use the largest 1.25" Union that is included, but it is totally fine to use the other 0.75" or 1.0" adapters if needed.
Because not all aquariums are alike, Neptune Systems included IQ-Level technology with every COR pump. Customize the minimum and maximum speed settings for your tanks plumbing to the ideal flow rate, but also the minimum flow rate for in tank flow and feed modes as well.
Neptune's COR uses the latest in Vector Control, BLDC motor technology. Driving the COR pump in a way that is super energy efficient using less than 50W at full power, and staying vibration and noise free.
Know what is going on with your pump at all times. COR pumps come loaded with features that let you monitor your aquariums "heart" giving you the chance to fix something before it fails. Saltwater aquariums are notorious for creating calcium and other mineral build-up on pumps and there internal parts that can inhibit the flow but more importantly could cause damage to the pump. Neptune Fusion lets you monitor the pumps internal temperature along with its wattage draw and flow rate allowing you to set alarms and alerts if something goes out of their normal thresholds. If the temperature of the pump increases to unsafe levels, the COR will actually slow itself down until temperatures reach a safe level again, giving you time to react and maintain the pump.

Great Pump By Jack on 5/19/2020Jack would recommend this product to a friendI was hesitant to go with the COR 15 for my tank. I was on the fence between the vectra and the cor, but I figured since I was already APEX heavy that I would go with the COR15. I'm glad I did. The functionality on it is great, I like the fact that I was able to easily set limits and parameters. Great pump, the only thing I would suggest (which I did) was make sure that you go with at least 1-1/4 suction pipe and 1" discharge piping at bare minimum if you have your pump externally.
Cor 15 By Mark on 1/26/2020Mark wouldn't recommend this product to a friendI set up my system with 2 Cor 15's first one failed after 1.5 years now the second one is doing the same thing and is about to fail. They are quiet pumps and seem to be well made but the problem is in the Pumps them selves I am not 100% but I think they are not well sealed on the inside. Both of these pumps were external.
So far so good By Samuel on 1/14/2020Samuel would recommend this product to a friendMy setup: IM Nuvo120 AIO with Neptune Apex, DOS pumps, Trident, 2 auto feeders, etc. I’m in deep with Neptune so this was a logical upgrade. If I wasn’t, I don’t think I would recommend this brand of pump Over the Ecotech Vectra + EcoSmart live. That being said:
Initial impressions are good thus far. If you have a Neptune Apex with a free 24v port it’s plug and play.
This is replacing a Vectra S2 which has been running for about a year or so. The Vectra was very quiet and very reliable but was the last piece of ecotech equipment I had left so the powerbrick and EcoSmart live were taking up a lot plugs and room for just one device.
I don’t want this to turn into a negative review for the S2 so I will just say that the App and programming were frustrating and buggy. The Neptune interface and system is solid and robust and so I feel like controlling and dialing in this pump is far easier. The pump seemed to push more water than the Vectra S2 in my setup as well. Lastly, while I’m sensitive to pump hum the Vectra S2 was fantastic; somehow the COR-15 is even quieter.
Fit and finish is excellent but it’s the usual Neptune Apex plastic which feels cheap (right or wrong). I had hoped the thread was the same for the Vectra S2 and Cor-15 but it is not. On a positive note, they are exactly the same height so there was no cutting of pipes to accommodate it.
I’m guessing they tried to figure out a way to show you flow throughput but couldn’t do it. The wattage, heat, and RPMS are nice in that they will show you if it’s slowing down and needs to be cleaned which is great. Flow would’ve been the holy grail though.
Very happy with my purchase. Seems like a worthy upgrade and eliminating cords, clutter, and apps is a real positive.
easy install, completely quiet By eli on 4/18/2019eli would recommend this product to a friendordered this to replace an old pump that was on its last leg. this pump installed seemlessly. If you've ever setup anything in apex this is no problem at all. what i didn't expect was how whisper quiet this thing is. absolutely cannot hear it at all, even with the door to the sump open. i'm really impressed with this pump and should've gotten this thing sooner.
Love the pump and the 1 cable. By douglasrlee on 2/1/2019douglasrlee would recommend this product to a friendI used this on my red sea 170 and mainly got it because of the one cable that I could just hook up to my apex. I haven't had any problems with it so far and it is nice and quite.
GOOD PUMP By Michael on 12/11/2018Michael would recommend this product to a friendWorking fine after about 1 year. Silent and works perfectly with the controller.
Love the 1 link cable By Keith on 9/21/2018Keith would recommend this product to a friendI'm going 5 stars here just for the 1 link cable. I have way too many cables under my tank! I added a neptune flow monitor the same time I added this pump and I'm really digging the combo. I was running a jebao dc pump before this. Based on the flow rate and the water movement in the tank, it's obvious to me that the old pump was not performing anywhere near expectations. This pump does a much better job of performing as advertised. It is about a year old as of writing this review. There has been some decline in performance with time, but it's outperforming the Chinese knockoff pump by a mile. Wish they made a bigger model for my tank upgrade I'm working on.
What is the input size and what is the output size for the Cor-15 ?
The input size is 1" and the output is 3/4". Have a great day!
