Does it’s job! By Ferrell on 9/8/2018Ferrell would recommend this product to a friendBetter than the magnetic vertex tube holder which wouldn’t stay in place on 1/4” glass and the screws were too short to hold tubes. Save $15 and get one that’s rock solid
Dosing bracket By Alan on 7/26/2018Alan would recommend this product to a friendThis bracket fits perfectly on my IM 25 gallon lagoon tank. It provides for my alkalinity and calcium dosing, and also holds my ATO tube.
Poorly made By Quinnchero on 4/9/2018Quinnchero wouldn't recommend this product to a friendFor the price I did not expect anything spectacular, but I did expect something that wouldn't snap a leg off during installation with about 1 lb of force placed on it. Fit is extremely tight on a standard 20g long DIY sump. One side leg had zero issues the other was tighter and required about the weight of my hand to push it into place. Where it immediately snapped the shorter gaped leg off. Superglue should repair it, Just don't expect much out of this $15
Well built By Tim on 2/19/2018Tim would recommend this product to a friendWell built and heavier nylon screws compaired to others i own. Clamps well to my rimless sump. If you have a rimmed tank, measure the distance across the frame. This is a clamping unit with 1/2 inch clearance. Bought another
Works great By Kenm on 8/27/2017Kenm would recommend this product to a friendThis air line holder has worked as expected. No issues.
Works on a 10G rimmed sump By Ryan on 3/28/2017Ryan would recommend this product to a friendThis worked great on my 10G rimmed sump, when I upgraded I tried to use it on my 20G rimmed sump and it was too small to get around the rim. pulled out the torch and made some "adjustments" and now it works fine on my 20G. All I did was heat it up and then slightly bend the legs out at the top, then I heated the bottom of the legs and bent them inward around the rim.
works good, looks good, priced good! By Bruce on 3/2/2017Bruce would recommend this product to a friendworks good, looks good, priced good!...nuff sed!
Misleading overview By Brian on 2/15/2017Brian wouldn't recommend this product to a friendThe overview states that it "clamps onto 1/2" thick acrylic or glass". This appear true but it really should say there is 1/2" clearance between the vertical legs. That's what matters. My 20 gallon sump is just an old glass tank that has a plastic rim. The rim blocks this bracket from dropping far enough down to even align with glass. Can't use. Bummed.
ok but modifications required By reviewer on 10/7/2016reviewer would recommend this product to a friendOne of the two mounting screws will not contact 1/8" glass in sump. The tube screws will not contact 1/4" tubing. M5 x 0.8 nylon thumb screws are not easy to find. I plan to purchase drill/tap set and 1/4-20 screws that all need to be 1/4" longer.
Really nice looking, high quality bracket. By Josh V on 4/5/2016Josh V would recommend this product to a friendBought this to use to manage my dosing tubes and it looks really clean and has a quality feel. The one I received had black nylon screws which I liked much better and supports a range of tube sizes. Thanks BRS!
Great product By Mike on 3/31/2016Mike would recommend this product to a friendQuality material, design ,and function .
Will this fit over the plastic rim of a 40g breeder?
This will not work on a rimmed tank. The max thickness for this is 5/8" Feel free to let us know if you have any further questions!
I'd like to attach this to one of the baffles of my sump to hold the output lines from my carbon and GFO reactors. Will this hold the standard 1⁄2" RO tubing that comes with the BRS reactors?
Will this work on a cystral 36 sump rim
Unfortunately this bracket is not designed to work on Euro-braced tanks. You could, however, mount it to the internal baffles if you wish.
