Product Questions

Will this fit over the plastic rim of a 40g breeder?
Question by: James Sparkman on Feb 24, 2016 12:55:00 PM
Great question!
This will not work on a rimmed tank. The max thickness for this is 5/8" Feel free to let us know if you have any further questions!

Will this work on a cystral 36 sump rim
Question by: david scott on May 14, 2017 11:25:00 AM
Hey there,
Unfortunately this bracket is not designed to work on Euro-braced tanks. You could, however, mount it to the internal baffles if you wish.

Happy reefing!

Full Details

A well-built acrylic bracket designed to hold the tubes of the Bubble Magus Dosing Pump or any other dosing system in place on the side of the tank or sump.

Securely holding your dosing tubes will keep them from falling into the water and clogging or even worse out of your sump and dosing 2 part onto your cabinet stand or floors. For a cost efficient and functional dosing tube holder, the Bubble Magus Tube Holder Bracket is perfect.

  • Works on a 10G rimmed sump By Ryan on 3/28/2017

This worked great on my 10G rimmed sump, when I upgraded I tried to use it on my 20G rimmed sump and it was too small to get around the rim. pulled out the torch and made some "adjustments" and now it works fine on my 20G. All I did was heat it up and then slightly bend the legs out at the top, then I heated the bottom of the legs and bent them inward around the rim.
  • works good, looks good, priced good! By Bruce on 3/2/2017

works good, looks good, priced good!...nuff sed!
  • Misleading overview By Brian on 2/15/2017

The overview states that it "clamps onto 1/2" thick acrylic or glass". This appear true but it really should say there is 1/2" clearance between the vertical legs. That's what matters. My 20 gallon sump is just an old glass tank that has a plastic rim. The rim blocks this bracket from dropping far enough down to even align with glass. Can't use. Bummed.
  • ok but modifications required By reviewer on 10/7/2016

One of the two mounting screws will not contact 1/8" glass in sump. The tube screws will not contact 1/4" tubing. M5 x 0.8 nylon thumb screws are not easy to find. I plan to purchase drill/tap set and 1/4-20 screws that all need to be 1/4" longer.
  • Really nice looking, high quality bracket. By Josh V on 4/5/2016

Bought this to use to manage my dosing tubes and it looks really clean and has a quality feel. The one I received had black nylon screws which I liked much better and supports a range of tube sizes. Thanks BRS!

  • Does the job. By Sean on 7/27/2015

Gets the job done. works good
  • Wiggly By Rock Lobster on 7/22/2015

Wish the screws for the mount were just a little longer won't hold tight <1/4".
  • Serves its function but badly built By Chad on 4/13/2015

It works fine as a line holder and is a good design to keep the lines in place but it is poorly made. Mine was glued together crooked. It seems like it will be okay but time will tell if it comes apart at the seams or not.
  • Very Nice By Mikey Reefs It on 3/25/2015

It works well! Only thing is that you can easily slide it off of my acrylic sump even with the screws tighten all the way.
