Ocean Plankton is known to naturally contain higher levels of astaxanthin that fish can utilize to increase coloration, and overall health. This is a mixture of very small particle pieces like cyclopods, to large pieces like mysids. Ocean Plankton is a great food source for community tanks, and is naturally high in proteins.
Two Sizes Available
- 3.5 oz Blister Pack
- 16 oz Flat Pack
Ocean Plankton can be found free floating in various parts of the ocean and is a food source for many different types and sizes of fish. The smaller particle is a great food for corals or fish and contain amazingly high amounts of protein.
Feed only as much as your fish will consume in a 1 minute period multiple times a day. It is best to feed very small amounts multiple times a day over a single large feeding. Fish will naturally graze and scavenge for food throughout the day and by offering different foods multiple times a day will mimic their natural feeding instincts and lead to better coloration and overall healthier fish.
