Innovative Marine now offers their screen net top suspension clips separately allowing you to mount a screen net top on a rimless aquarium.
Rimless tanks usually require some creative solution for suspending a screen net top without it being an eye sore. The clear screen top clips will securely hold onto the rim of your tank while providing a ledge for the screen net top to rest on within the perimeter of the aquarium.
Five Sizes Available:
6mm - 0.23"
8mm - 0.31"
10mm - 0.39"
12mm - 0.47"
15mm - 0.59"
Screen net tops allow up to 99% of light through them unlike glass or plastic based lids. The screen if sized properly will be small enough to keep even the tiniest of critters from jumping out of your aquarium. Most standard tanks have a plastic trim that the screen net top can securely rest upon, where rimless tanks need a simple solution to hold a net top without being a constant distraction.
Innovative Marine produces simple, easy to use clips allowing you to place them on the rim of your rimless tank and suspend your screen net top. When using the clips they will let the screen top rest within the perimeter of the aquarium making for a super clean, professional look.

Great fit By wolfecs on 1/29/2017wolfecs would recommend this product to a friendI was skeptical they would fit my rimless tank but they were an excellent fit. I also purchased the diy screen top and once again the lid fit perfectly.

To big and then too small By Flannigan on 7/9/2016Flannigan would recommend this product to a friendBefore these first two reviews, I ordered the 15mm size. On half inch glass, the were way too loose. I thought about shimming them with a thin clear plastic, but decided to order the 12mm. They were way too tight. Took a heat gun to them to soften them up so they would stretch out a bit in order to fit the 1/2 inch glass.
good, i guess? By Drew on 6/28/2016Drew would recommend this product to a friendI have 1/2" glass and ordered the 12 mm and felt that they fit way too tight. You can push them on hard but I'm afraid it's going to damage my glass and once you get them on it's something you would not want to have to keep taking off and putting back on. You will have to do this though in order to clean the glass. I will be ordering the 15 mm to try those but with the other review saying that they're big I'm a little frustrated they can just make the correct size for 1/2" glass since it is pretty common. I guess I would recommend these since I don't know of a better alternative
Serves it's stated purpose By Spikewire on 3/14/2016Spikewire would recommend this product to a friendMy tank has 1/2' glass and I tried the 15mm. A bit too big so I'll be exchanging for the 12mm. They do exactly what they should. Hold the mesh cover kit inside the rim with little visible distraction. Very solid product and not flexible so make sure you don't make my mistake and order the wrong size :)

Please email us at support@bulkreefsupply with the tank you have and we can let you know what side clips you need. Essentially you will want to measure the thickness if your glass to find what size you need. Hope to hear from you soon!
I have included a quick link below to IM website with the photos of the clips in use. Feel free to let us know if you have any further questions!
I ordered a kit for my 4x2 100g that has 1/2' glass. What size clips should I be looking at? Also do I need to trim the mesh net kit a spec to make sure it fits inside the rim of my tank?
Unfortunately these are a brand new item to our inventory within the past few days. For your tank the 15mm clips would be needed as the 12mm while close would bee too tight for 1/2" glass. Feel free to let us know if you have any further questions!
The 15mm would be just a hair to small and a worry of cracking or breaking if stretched would be a concern. Unfortunately we do not currently have larger options however by searching online for aquarium lid clips you can often find larger sizes. Feel free to let us know if you have any further questions!
