Stable Continuous Airflow

If you utilize ozone, you should be using a vacuum air pump to ensure that all of the O3 laden air is injected into your reactor and not pushed through possible leaks in the generator. Alita In-Line Vacuum Air Pumps are designed to be used with ozone and can give you stable airflow injection into almost any reactor. The powerful motor runs quiet and incorporates many different features to ensure a long life of service. Many ozone generators will require a source of vacuum to pull the air through the generator, and most reefers have just used their skimmer's air intake, but that can be unreliable and degrade the performance of your expensive protein skimmer. Using a vacuum pump is much safer and efficient.

Product Questions

Can this be used to help pump outside air into a skimmer line?
Question by: Meagan on Jan 31, 2024, 3:03 PM
Hey there,
Thank you for reaching out to us. Alita In-Line Vacuum Air Pumps are designed to be used with ozone and can give you stable high flow of airflow into almost any reactor or skimmer. The powerful motor operates with very little noise (29db) and incorporates many different features to ensure a long life of service. Many reefers have relied on their skimmer's air intake to pull the ozone laden air through the generator and draw it into the skimmer chamber, but that can be unreliable and degrade the performance of your expensive protein skimmer. Using a vacuum pump is safer, more reliable, and efficient. Please let me know if you need anything further.
