- Libra Vessel 2.5S - Compact Dosing Container - Vertex
Why does BRS recommend this?
Vertex liquid storage vessels are great at holding solutions while giving a sleek design. With great form and function these vessels have a built in diaphragm valve to help from liquid traveling back into the container. With push connect fittings most dosing tubing will simply push into the fitting for a quick easy connection.

J-Guest fittings draw in air By Mr.Salty on 11/12/2017Mr.Salty wouldn't recommend this product to a friendSolid build overall. Can not seem to get the J-Guest fittings to stop drawing air into the lines.
Container stem breaks By Justjohno on 8/19/2017Justjohno wouldn't recommend this product to a friendLet me first say, I love my Vertex skimmer but this container did not work for me. Contruction of the container is very good but the design is poor. I've purchased 2 of these containers and they've both broke the same way. You need to be very careful when removing the lid, if not it will snap the internal lead. Now going to chose another container.
Solid build quality By roge on 7/28/2017roge would recommend this product to a friendThe containers are built like tanks, the J-guest fittings work like a charm and as long as you have the dosing line tube in line with the indentation sealing the container back up is easy and effective.
Like others have reported, broken on arrival By Jeremy on 3/16/2017Jeremy wouldn't recommend this product to a friendSolidly constructed. Tight fitting lid with a gasket seal that was the whole point for me. The very first time I opened it, the internal plastic tube is already broken where it joins to the lid. As I've read elsewhere, perhaps because the plastic tubing is so rigid, it might get pushed where the tubing rides against the bottom, but there is a flexible center section of tubing presumably to avoid that. In any event, I haven't even used it yet; given the lid fits tightly, even if it's replaced or I manage to repair it, I'm nervous about longevity of it if it can be broken with shipping packaging — it''s packaged up to Apple standards in a fancy box.
