The Tunze Turbelle stream 3+ is a powerful, controllable circulation pump designed to create broad, adjustable water movement while operating exceptionally quietly. Its magnetic-bearing pump drive provides contact-free radial support, helping minimize motor noise and vibration even at higher flow settings.
Flow can be adjusted from 660 to 3,962 GPH, making the stream 3+ suitable for everything from moderate circulation to high-flow applications in large freshwater and saltwater aquariums. The acoustically optimized, low-frequency propeller is designed to efficiently move a large volume of water while keeping operating noise to a minimum.
Customize Your Flow
The Turbelle stream 3+ includes several options for tailoring water movement to your aquarium. The adjustable and removable flow deflector allows the direction of flow to be precisely positioned and even makes it possible to mount the pump vertically in a corner for a more discreet installation.
An included flow rectifier extends the reach of the pump's flow to more than 3 meters, making it especially useful for longer aquariums where water needs to travel across the length of the display.
Magnetic-Bearing Pump Drive
Rather than relying solely on a conventional mechanical bearing, the stream 3+ uses a magnetic bearing for contact-free radial support. This design helps neutralize motor noise and contributes to the pump's exceptionally quiet operation. Additional silicone buffers isolate vibration between the pump and its mounting system.
Tunze HUB Control
The included Turbelle Controller 7020 provides easy pump control and access to the Tunze HUB. Compatible Tunze devices can be controlled and managed through the HUB via WiFi and the internet.
An integrated real-time clock helps maintain programmed timing after a power interruption.
FishCare & Automatic Backflushing
The stream 3+ includes a FishCare function designed to help protect fish and other aquarium inhabitants. The pump also automatically performs an 8-second backflushing cycle every 24 hours at 30% output, helping clear debris from the pump.
Secure, Flexible Mounting
The Silence Magnet Holder allows the stream 3+ to be positioned around the aquarium and supports glass thicknesses up to 3/4". A hybrid mounting design combining a suction cup and magnet, along with silicone vibration buffers, helps securely hold the pump while reducing transferred vibration.
The large intake strainer is easy to remove for maintenance and can be fitted with the included protective grating to provide additional protection for small animals and anemones.
