Replacement Zeolite filter inserts for Seachem Tidal 75 HOB Power Filters. Seachem Zeolite has the highest ammonia binding capacity of any available zeolite. While not typically recommended for ongoing operation, zeolite can be valuable for short-term emergency ammonia control in cases where biological filtration has been disrupted or hasn't been properly established, such as in a quarantine tank. Zeolite is a naturally occurring, highly-porous mineral which can also bind harmful metal ions such as lead, copper, nickel, and zinc.

Directions
Each pack contains 250ml of Seachem's Zeolite. Seachem's recommended dose is 5 mL of media per US gallons of aquarium water. The recommended dosage will remove up to 0.5 mg/L ammonia. Monitor ammonia levels, which should drop to zero within 24-48 hours. In some cases, depending on the ammonia levels present, the media may need to be replaced at this point. Once ammonia levels reach zero, the zeolite can be removed or replaced with activated carbon, such as Seachem MatrixCarbon. For heavy metals removal, leave in service and replace monthly.
