The ReefBreeders Refugium LED is the perfect lighting solution for compact refugiums.

Refugiums are an excellent way to control excess nutrients and can be especially useful for smaller systems where room for skimmers and mechanical filtration may be limited. In these circumstances, it can be a challenge to provide the right spectrum and intensity. With ReefBreeders' Pico Refugium LED, you get an array of five 660nm Deep Red and one 450nm Royal Blue LEDs which will deliver excellent macroalgae growth and health for refugiums up to 12 inches square. The LED array consists of 3 watt LEDs driven at 1 watt each for maximum efficiency.

Every Refugium LED has a flexible rubberized mounting arm that can be used in nearly limitless positions. The included clamp works on tank trims up to 1″ wide, and is ideal for rimless tanks or Euro-braced sumps.

Product Questions

Can I use this in a nano reef for anemone and corals
Question by: Eduardo Acevedo on Apr 11, 2022, 3:13 AM
Thanks for the question! This light is designed for plant/macro algae spectrums rather than a reef tank with corals and anemones. We recommend the Reef Nano LED for corals, clams, and anemones.
