The REEF-FRAME 250 provides a solid foundation for building a reef aquarium around the equipment you want to use. Rather than bundling lighting, pumps, filtration, and other hardware, the system gives you the aquarium, cabinet, sump, and plumbing so you can customize the rest of the setup to fit your specific needs.

These popular-sized reef systems feature eurobracing, ultra-clear glass bonded with high quality euro-silicone, and plywood cabinets designed to fully support the glass structure, providing you a lasting frame to create a stunning picture.

Extra Fortified Cabinet

REEF-FRAME aquariums include a marine-spec plywood cabinet designed to support the full contour of the glass, with adjustable feet for perfect levelling and stainless steel hinges. Cabinets are available in black, white, or oak finishes.

Ready-to-Reef Plumbing

• Quiet, High-Flow Drainage: Enlarged downflow pipes and the ReefGate precision valve help maintain smooth, near-silent flow.
• Optimized Plumbing: Hydrodynamically designed piping maximizes circulation and supports optional metric or USA connector kits.
• Efficient Return & Overflow Design: Curved 25 mm returns, concealed plumbing, and an easy-clean surface skimmer improve flow and simplify maintenance.

Reef Spec Sump

The high-performance Reef Spec sump includes a dedicated skimmer chamber with adjustable water height, an optional sump divider for creating a dedicated refugium chamber, a ReefMat-ready removable mechanical filtration compartment, and a bubble trap to help prevent air bubbles from returning to the aquarium.

ReefMat-Ready Mechanical Filtration

The removable mechanical filtration compartment comes ready to use with micron filter socks and media cups, while also making it easy to upgrade to a compatible ReefMat roller filter when you're ready.
