Algae Scrubbers & Algae Reactors produce the ideal conditions to grow algae, which helps eliminate any algae growth from your display tank but also helps control nitrate and phosphate from your aquarium in a completely natural way. Algae Reactors and Scrubbers come in many different forms and will grow different types of algae. Many algae reactors will grow chaeto algae or chaetomorpha, where algae scrubbers will naturally grow hair algae. Both styles requires manual harvesting of the algae when the reactor or screen becomes full.
