Due to its striking look, Proserpinaca palustris, often known as Marsh Mermaid Weed or Common Mermaid Weed, is among the most beautiful freshwater plants. The leaves of this unusual plant begin green and then turn a reddish-pink color. Although it is highly tolerant to varying conditions, it is difficult to maintain in an aquascape as it tends to shed heavily if the water and lighting conditions are not optimum.

About Tissue Cultured Plants
