Nano-Tech Bio-Cubelets provide high-capacity biological filtration in a compact, flexible form. Each cubelet is made from inert ceramic beads and offers up to 161 ft² of surface area for beneficial bacteria to colonize. Just 40 cubelets can replace up to 20 pounds of live rock, making them an efficient option for boosting filtration in high bioload aquariums without taking up valuable tank space. They can be placed directly in the display, in a sump, or inside canister and hang-on-back filters, and are safe for both freshwater and saltwater aquariums.

Easy Maintenance

The bio-media should be cleaned or replaced every 6 months for optimal results. When cleaning or replacing old bio-media, DO NOT clean or replace all of them at the same time.

Clean or replace half of the bio-media so there are sufficient bacterial colonies remaining to reestablish themselves in the newly cleaned or replaced bio-media.
