With nano-tech paint, the "disco ball" effect can be a thing of the past. Also with a wider optic keeping the spot light effect down to a minimum, LED lighting is getting closer and closer every day to what reef keepers desire. If you simply just want a better spread and coverage in your tank, or just want the best available for your slice of the ocean, we highly suggest swapping out the standard 90-degree optics with the upgraded 120-degree optic.

    I have the 48" Maxspect Razor on my 90G. I wasn't really impressed with the light quality but I got it for basically nothing so I didnt want to spend 1000's upgrading. This upgrade was expensive for me because I have 6 lamps to upgrade but it was worth it. In my 24" tank it almost totally removed the disco ball effect, although I will say not 100% like my kessils. But it spread the light out considerably and reduced the disco ball effect by about 85% (wild estimate)..

Are the lenses included with this?

This will not include lenses or other optics. Just a replacement for the wide angle on the reflectors around each LED.
