Why does BRS recommend this?

If you constantly need to install and uninstall your RODI system up to your sinks feed lines then we highly suggest using the John Guest Angle Stop Valve.  With metal connections repetitive installs and removals will not cause issues like plastic may sometimes.  With a simple ball valve you can also shut the feed of water off to the RODI system while keeping water flowing up to your sink.

John Guest Angle Stop Valve's directly connect RO units to the household water supply. It installs under the sink, inline after the shut-off valve. This clean, out of the way installation leaves faucets free for other use. To turn of water supply to the RO unit for maintenance simply close the ball valve.

Product Questions

Why are there two sizes? What size works for a standard sink feed line?
Question by: Dan on Mar 16, 2018, 4:55 PM
The different sizes available only matters for the size tubing your RODI system uses. The fittings that connect to your source water are the same for both.

Will this fitting work on the cold water side of a washing machine water line?
Question by: arthur cardoza on May 11, 2017, 11:13 AM
Hey there,
These valves are designed to connect to standard cold water connections in 3/8", which are typical of sink lines, but washing machines may differ from this.

Have a great day!
