Waste of Money By The Fish Guy on 1/13/2019The Fish Guy wouldn't recommend this product to a friendI bought this for a customer because they were going on a week trip out of town. It worked for that week plus one more, and then it just rotated without opening. Tried to get it to open and now it won't even rotate. So after three weeks of having it I got to purchase one for my customer because I can't make them do it because I gave them something that doesn't work. So I got egg on my face because I recommended this for my customer. They want to go on another vacation trip so I'm back on here trying to figure out which one to get for them so they don't have to worry about their fish while they travel. Wouldn't recommend this to anyone unless you just like throwing away money, but if you do please send me that money because my business losing money with this purchase.
Poor power connection By John on 11/17/2017John would recommend this product to a friendThe feeder itself works fine, but the power connection started to give out after about half a year. I would come home to the clock reading 12:01 and it had stopped feeding. After that the power cable was very sensitive to touch and would reset the clock at the slightest touch. I probably with silicone around the power connection next time to keep any moisture from getting in and preventing any movement.
Mounting Bracket is a Joke By Travis on 11/15/2016Travis wouldn't recommend this product to a friendI installed this and upon first use it fell into the tank when it actuated. For the cost the mounting cradle should have had more thought put into it.
