- Gyre XF350 Pump Only (5280 GPH) - Maxspect
Requires Gyre 300 Series Controller
All of the Gyre 300 series pumps are compatible with the Maxspect Connect ICV6 control module so you can wirelessly control your pumps using the free Syna-G app from Maxspect. Any combination of pumps can be connected and controlled which means you can now operate a Gyre XF330 and an XF350 using the same control module all with a single power supply. This helps you to tailor the flow inside your aquarium perfectly to suit the needs of your corals without a ton of wires and bulky power supplies under your tank.
The pump that revolutionized water flow for aquariums has reached the pinnacle of design, performance and control. The 3rd Generation aptly named the Gyre 300 series incorporates all of the amazing features of the original Gyre pumps and improved them to make the best GYRE flow pump yet.
- Unique Flow Virtually Eliminates Dead Spots
- Evenly Distributed Linear Flow
- Discrete Design
- Twin Directional Flow Cages
- Clip on Flow Directors
- Waterproof Silent Suspension Magnet Mount
- Advanced Controller with Mount
The engineers at Maxspect completely redesigned the pump with fewer parts and a more intuitive assembly for easier maintenance of the rotors. Gyre 300 series pumps include an extra set of bushings to help reduce downtime while cleaning and keep your pump operating at full capacity. The new design has simplified this process of rotor replacement making it easier than ever to keep your pump pushing water at full throttle.
The most noticeable upgrade on the new Gyre 300 pumps is the detachable flow directors which are a welcome addition and allows you to place your pumps even closer to the surface of your aquarium without the worry of pulling a noisy vortex of air and improving surface agitation for maximum gas exchange. You can maneuver each director to point the Gyre flow of water where you need it. Best of all, the maneuverable caps block light from reaching the pump components and will reduce the rate at which algae will accumulate for longer operation in-between maintenance.

Great pump! By Floating island Aaron on 12/13/2019Floating island Aaron would recommend this product to a friendThe fact that you can mount these 1 to 2 inches below the surface is great! I have a floating island (supported from the back with a ledge like formation and rock mounted on it) and it gives great flow over and then under. I also have 3 wav units which I like quite a bit for the varied flow they offer however the sleekness of the maxspect and the type of flow just can't be beat.
Fantastic pumps! By Benjamin on 9/27/2019Benjamin would recommend this product to a friendI've been running 2 of these on a 6' 220 gallon tank for about 4 months. I absolutely LOVE THEM! They put out more flow than I could ever want. I've never had to put them at higher than 50% or else the sand starts blowing around. I love all the different flow patters you can create when you have 2 pumps with the anti-sync mode. I also bought the ICV6 to allow me to control the pumps through my phone. This definitely helps with programming. I use multiple programs throughout the day to create even more randomness in the tank. Could not be happier!
Terrible! By Ron on 8/26/2019Ron wouldn't recommend this product to a friendNot reliable - apparently one of the two gyre wasn’t running. Customer service is terrible. Programming is more than difficult. Buy a vortech instead!!
Unreliable pumps By Brian on 5/17/2019Brian wouldn't recommend this product to a friendI wanted to love these, but shortly after using them, they stopped working. I contacted customer service, and they advised me to update the firmware. I did so, and they worked for about three weeks. Then, the other gyre channel had the same problem. I updated the firmware again (same version as the prior update, but I had to try something) and it started again. Customer service could not explain what was happening, and they made no offer to send new pumps or how to prevent the problem in the future. I recommend you stay far away from these until Coral Vue fixes whatever the problem is. There's no warning or alert when they stop working—you just have to notice it. If, like me, you have a lot of flow, you won't necessarily see that one pump stops working, but your tank will still suffer. Stay away.
Does the pump only package include the Y connector required to use the single power supply (from the XF350 pump kit)
