Compatible with Maxspect Gyre XF130 and XF230 pumps only
The new Advanced Gyre Controller now lets you couple up to two Gyre pumps together off a single power supply. By connecting two pumps, they can run in sync, anti-sync, or a couple of other modes giving you more control over the output. It now also lets you set a full 24-hour flow cycle without the need to connect to a third party controller.
If you choose not to set your own custom flow cycle, Maxspect also expertly programmed a couple of 24-hour cycles, like Lunar Tidal Cycle (LTC) or the Oceanic Gyre Cycle (OGC). On top of all of that Maxspect added new flow patterns too, like Random and Gradual Pulsing mode in addition to the traditional Constant, Pulse, and Alternating Gyre modes.

Better options for your tank By Matt on 5/21/2017Matt wouldn't recommend this product to a friendProgramming is difficult. Pre-programmed cycles don't work great. Product claims to have no dead spots. I have tons of wast in my back corners. If you can afford it, there's better pumps, if not, there's just as good cheaper options.
Nice Upgrade By Anthony on 3/15/2017Anthony would recommend this product to a friendThumbs up for the backwards compatibility if you have a first gen Gyre. The flexibility this controller provides for the Gyre is top notch. Currently running the auto mode with 5 programs that transition smoothly throughout the day and planning to add more to mix up my flow even more. Zero complaints here, totally satisfied with this piece.

Thanks for getting in touch with us in regards to this controller. I just measured one at 5.25*3.75. Keep in mind the cords hang below it. Please let me know if there is anything else that we can assist with. Thanks!
We agree that this does seem a little odd. However, this is in accordance with Maxspect's MAP pricing policies. I don't think the intention is to have them incentivized as a package, but rather they are grouped for ease of purchase. Still, we're right there with ya!
