Growing algae in a refugium setting can help manage and combat reef tank nutrient issues, like phosphates and nitrates. One of the biggest keys to a successful refugium is having the proper light. Zetlight's E200s LED Panel Light is designed for refugiums, with light spectrums peaking in the 450-480nm to 580-650nm range with over 20W of power almost any refugium will benefit from upgrading to this light.
With the Horizon App, or with your home's router you can control the E200s LED light through your smartphone. Controlling the light allows you to set multiple points throughout the day with ramping and spectrum changes. The Horizon App lets you access their cloud technology that can communicate to the light from anywhere there is an internet connection. Horizon does require that your light is connected to the internet through a WiFi connection for the app to access it.

Nice light that fits into sump area well By joe on 1/18/2020joe would recommend this product to a friendI just installed it and I like the way that went as well has the light output. Well see how well it grows chaeto algae. I was using a Kessil H380, but you can't dim that and I had to put is so close to the water due to space limitations that it basically killed the chaeto. The Zetlight is also close, but it distributes the light evenly over a wider area, plus you can dim it if needed. The app that supports wifi communication works well, but it is rather cryptic, partially due to pore translation to english. It took me a while to figure out that you have to swipe the picture (left or right) when setting up the light levels to access the 5 available light periods (i.e., dawn, sunset, sunrise, etc (there may be some incorrect names as I recall too). If the algae end up responding poorly, or do greater than expected, I'll update this post (if possible).
Nice wifi refugium light By Ryan on 6/8/2019Ryan would recommend this product to a friendFits on my sump well and the app is relatively easy to navigate. Avoids me needing to have a separate timer for the light.
Great light. Better customer service! By wentom on 2/11/2019wentom would recommend this product to a friendThis has been a good light. Not super techy so was concerned about the whole sync. to my phone thing. Customer service for Zetlight walked me thru the whole thing without making me feel stupid! Very nice.
Can you tell me how wide the gooseneck clamp is, and how wide of a lip on the sump it will fit over?
Thank you for reaching out with your question. The bracket on the E200S is 1 3/8" wide and can fit over any rim smaller than that.
Please let us know if you have any other questions!
The description says 55 watts of power while the detailed description says 20 watts. Can someone please test the actual wattage? My guess is it is less than 20 watts. Accurate wattage reporting is very important. If this is an "equivalent" wattage, please so report. I do thank you for NOT including the 55 wattage claim in the title/subject line or as part of the model number/name, all of which can be very misleading.
Have a great day :)
